Last night was a night to be remembered at the highly anticipated first ever “see now, buy now” Alice + Olivia runway show. From the star-studded front row to high-profile Nieman Marcus buyers eyeing limited-edition pieces as they sashayed down the catwalk, the event provided powerful evidence that this new form of fashion commerce strategy is here to stay. Alica + Olivia’s highly coveted Spring 2016 line is a wanderlust fairytale with an elegant and refined twist– floor-length vests, bell bottoms, floral embroidery and delicate chiffon tempered by clean lines, perfect tailoring, and demure hems.
The show concluded with a surreal shower of rose petals falling from the ceiling, descending onto models and noteworthy audience members alike as Benet took a bow.

Among the models who walked, our girls Ashley Moore and Faith Picozzi were granted the good fortune of being featured beyond the scope of the runway and into the festival-wear campaign shot by Jared Kocka. The campaign, much like the runway, features select pieces from Benet’s Grateful Dead capsule line.
We’re keeping our eyes on several key pieces- particularly the Lavergne Asymmetrical Ruffle Layer Gown and the Chloe Embellished Crop Jacket. As if we weren’t excited for Coachella already, this line comes just in time to make our festival-wear wish list! Now, if only a festival fairy godmother could appear and manifest the outfits into our suitcases…
