My mom, because she is everything.

12. Do you have a lucky item of clothing?
I do, it’s this olive sleeping bag looking poncho that I thought was a coat when I ordered it. Everyone stops me to talk about it.
13. Do you have any mottos you live by?
You can do anything you want to do, so do it.
1.How long have you been an artist?
I have been an artist since I can remember, creating is really all I know. My grandma is an artist in Belgium, and I remember going to her friend’s house in the country to do a live figure drawing session with other artists.
2. Where does your inspiration for your art come from?
My inspiration comes from women. I love to draw nude figures and silhouettes.
3.What does your artwork aim to say?
My artwork speaks to women and anyone else who appreciates the beauty of bodies.
4.Which artist(s) do you look up to and why?
I grew up enjoying Helmut Newton’s photography and admired his constant theme of nudity and fashion.
5. Which artwork(s) are you most proud of and why?
I am the most proud of my last collection of pieces, I had a sold out art show called “The Boot” and couldn’t believe it. I combined figure drawing with high fashion mixed media, and it was a hit. I recently had my art displayed in an online gallery for International Women’s Day, which is so exciting.
1.How long have you been a dancer?
I was raised in a dance studio with my mom who was a ballerina. I started dancing at 4 years old.
2.What is your favorite type of dance?
I learned quickly that ballet was not my thing, and I fell in love with hip hop and contemporary.
3.What is one of your favorite memories as a dancer?
One of my favorite memories was choreographing a duo with my friend in her basement. We came up with a routine in 24 hours and ended up winning 1st place at Nationals in Las Vegas.
4.Do you choreograph? If so, what style dance?
Choreographing became apart of my life when I was 17 and I became and I became an instructor. I am 25 now and it’s been a while but modeling has definitely shown me that my dancing days may not be over, so I am excited to get back in it.
1.How long have you been a hair stylist?
I have been a hair stylist for 8 years now. I started doing hair in high school for my friend’s school dances.
2.What do you love about being a hair stylist?
I love cutting hair, precision bobs and curly hair are my specialties. Being a hairstylist is not easy, and most of the time you are an underpaid therapist, but connecting with all kinds of people is a blessing and teaches you a lot.
3.Which hair products do you recommend your clients to use?
Moroccan Oil and Loma are my favorite brands for curly hair.
4.What inspired you to be a hair stylist?
I chose to be a hair stylist because I knew I needed a creative and financially stable career, so doing hair was for me.
