A ’90s-Inspired (But Utterly Modern) Take on Monochromatic Makeup: the seven products makeup artist Robin Black uses to get the look.
The 1990s was a seminal era for me, and I often find myself unconsciously referencing makeup styles from that time (I blame The Face and i-D). However, it’s terribly boring to simply repeat, so update that beloved ’90s monochromatic look with washes of warm color in sheer textures!
Note: Maggimae hails from Kansas and has the most amazing blue eyes (un-retouched, I swear!).
PRODUCTS // Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel Bronzing Makeup Base (used as eye shadow and cheek color), NARS Eyeliner Pencil in Iceberg, Charlotte Tilbury Full Fat Lashes in Glossy Black, Anastasia Brow Fix, Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick in Stoned Rose, Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua in 20 Beige, Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream (used under makeup and then patted on top of the finished look for added glow).
