How do you describe your personal style?

Comfortable and chic.

When did you know you wanted to be a model?

I had it in me since I was a little kid. I spent hours watching fashion shows and looking at models and how they modeled, what their lives were like, etc. I really found the modeling and art world fascinating.

What excites you most about being a model?

Traveling to the most beautiful places and meeting amazing people from all over the world.

What item in your closet could you never part with?

My glasses and high waisted shorts.

What’s your favorite hair or make up trick?

My favorite makeup trick is putting lots of mascara to open up the eyes! I never leave the house without it! My hair trick is cheap and easy to make. I apply avocado & olive oil maybe once or twice a month to keep it shiny and healthy. And of course, Biotin supplements once a day. A must have!

Do you have any hidden talents?

I can cry very easily.

Tell a random funny story of something that happened in your past.

My most random funny story happened 2 years ago at a fashion show. Right before the show I had to run quickly to the bathroom to change outfits. In the middle of all the rush and typical craziness I never realized there was a candle on next to where I had put my pants. Seconds later the pants were on fire and burning in flames. I started panicking! It was terrifying. I almost lost my mind in the bathroom trying to get the fire off the pants! Thank God for water and human instincts! I managed to put them in the sink and turn off the fire but I’m not going to lie…the pants were a total loss! It was quite embarrassing and scary. Now, I always double check for candles when changing in the bathroom.

Hi Greta, I am a cousin of Alex Mijares. I am married to Javier Calderin, Alex was my Ring Barer in my wedding when he was little. I am sure you have seen pictures of my daughter Ally. She has done a little modeling. Question her skin has started breaking out more and with her Cuban Oily skin (she inherited from the Cuban side) I don’t know how to help her not look so oily all the time. She has uses powders and foundation but cloggs pours. What do you suggest??? Also how does she go about getting an agent? She has done a commercial and a back to school campaign with Bealls department store. I admire all your pictures in a non walking way. So happy for you and Alex hope to meet you at niche Buena this year.

    Tina
