How old are you?
21 years young, with an old soul.
Where are you from?
Do you have a book that changed your life?
Infinite Self by Stuart Wilde is a book that I have read previously and am now reading again. It outlines 33 steps to reclaiming your inner power as a human and helps release your mind from the constraints of the ego. It is a book that reminds me that this life is precious and to live in the present moment. When I am traveling it is one of the only books I carry along– it’s that amazing!
Which superpower would you want?
The ability to teleport anywhere, at any time or moment. I have so many friends, family, and loved ones that live all around the world in different places and time zones. It would be so lovely to be able to quickly give my dad a hug before a big moment, say hi to my best friend before she hits the waves in Hawaii, or have breakfast with my sister in Lebanon.
What’s your Karaoke Song?
Sadly, I have only done Karaoke once! And it was no surprise that I picked a classic, “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey. Let’s just say my friends got lots of pictures and laughs that night.
Whose fictional wardrobe do you want most?
I think Miranda Priestly from The Devil Wears Prada would have some seriously amazing pieces in her closet from all the years of running the iconic magazine, Runway.
What makes you feel nostalgic?
Certain songs that I hear can immediately take me back to a very specific memory, day, feeling, or moment. My heart goes back and feels the beauty and love that I was feeling when I was listening. A few that get me every time are “Open Arms” by RKCB and “Ocean Eyes” by Billie Eilish.
If you had to choose one thing you were most passionate about, what would it be and why?
I would have to say my writing. I am currently writing whenever I have the chance, and already have filled several journals’ worth with words. Most of it is very personal and poetic, and I would love to someday publish a combination of what I have written, maybe a memoir.
Favorite movie or TV show soundtrack?
The Lion King soundtrack is the most beautiful thing I have ever heard, period.
What inspires you the most?
Witnessing the genuine awareness and joy that comes from children playing and experiencing life with so much wonder. It reminds me not to take life so seriously, and to laugh more.
What’s your favorite weekend activity?
Whenever I travel to a new place, I love to find a unique, local café to grab a coffee and croissant. With the sun hopefully out, I like to take it with me and walk around for a while to find a quaint park to sit at and be with nature, watch the wildlife, or just be. Taking in the experiences and energy that a new place brings is always exciting to me.
Do you have any mottos you live by?
I have a mantra that I like to say in my head when I need some calm, clearing encouragement in whatever I’m doing during the day, or just because. “I’m eternal. I’m universal. I’m infinite. I am what I am.”
