A daydream that turns into a real-life lookbook? Sold. That’s exactly the scenario that played out once we laid eyes on Paige’s recent shoot for Planet Blue. The California-cool brand created a scene that’s everything our dream day at the beach include: think killer shades, chunky, bold accessories and breezy rompers. Oh, and did we mention there are also some retro roller skates involved? Keep on scrolling.

You love brunch now. You love brunch because 2015 SURFING Magazine Swimsuit star Alexis Ren loves brunch and you love Alexis Ren. So, like it or not, you’re a brunch person now. But before you reach for another cup of coffee, do yourself a favor and press play on this video. It’s an in-depth biography on Alexis. And when we say “in-depth biography” what we mean is “150 or so seconds of her looking blindingly sexy while wearing a very minimal amount of clothing.” French toast does sound pretty good right now.
Do you love J.K. Rowling and her books? Neither do I! But Tereza Kacerova does and now both you and I have a direct route to her heart. It’s simple. Just go to your local Barnes And Noble and buy the latest issue of SURFING Magazine (for fun) and a Harry Potter book. Or if you’re poor, go to your local elementary school and steal one from a student — all is fair in love and war. Then find Tereza, preferably in a relaxed state, ideally in a lounge chair. Plop down next to her and begin to read your Harry Potter. After 20 minutes or so, slam the book shut in disbelief and exclaim “J.K. Rowling, wow, I can’t even begin to… She’s just so… And the wizardry… Do.. Do you want to get a drink?” She’ll bat her eyes and say yes. Pay for her drink, have an enthusiastic and inquisitive conversation, take her on dates, be compatible, be funny, be flexible, feel the fleecy blanket of love embrace and capsulate both of you, ask her to move in together after nine months, and to marry you after thirty-six months, say I do in front of a priest, have children, navigate the stresses of parenthood, adulthood, marriage, and real life in general while maintaining a level-headed and loving composure. Then her heart will forever be yours.
Maybe it’s not as simple as I thought. This video is cool though, right?

In a world where everything seems overdone to the max, sometimes subtler beauty is the way to go. A clean, natural face is timeless, and we love Monica Baddar’s ability to shoot a model in her most delicate, feminine element. Aside from being less time consuming than a full face of makeup, an understated face is the perfect balance to a bolder clothing choice, like Alexis Ren’s patterned crop jacket and skirt combo. See how Monica captured Alexis, Allison, Diane, Monica, Sydney and Zeda in these gorgeous and natural shots!
Don’t envision yourself cruising down the Pacific Coast Highway with your hair blowing in the wind anytime soon? Not to worry: all your West Coast desires will be fulfilled when you watch this adorably awesome video starring Faith Picozzi and her boyfriend Filip, shot and directed by photographer extraordinaire John Huba. Based in New York and repped by Elyse Connolly, John recently escaped the East Coast chill to warm up by shooting alongside the California coast, and we really can’t blame him. Watch as the real life couple drive down the coastline with the top down in a convertible Mini Cooper, frolic along Venice Beach trying on heart-shaped sunnies, and eat sweet potato french fries by the beach – all while the sweet, melodic voices of The Everly Brothers’s “I Kissed You” play in the background. (Swoon). Just a forewarning, though, we’re already experiencing major FOMO – and we actually live in LA.
