Summer is well under-way, the year is just about halfway over, and it’s been a hot minute since we’ve had a decently long holiday break. Chances are, you’re getting The Itch. You know, that annoying little voice in the back of your mind begging to go somewhere far, far away or to do something totally wild and unexpected; anything to stir up a little excitement and adventure. Most of us aren’t quite so #blessed that we can actually pack up and leave our lives behind for a while, but you can always fake it ’til you make it there. Pick a country, and dress the part!
In their newest lookbook series, “Around the World in One Summer” Faith is rocking inspired looks from one of THE most popular destinations of the moment: Morocco. Mococcan design is known for its vibrant colors and intricate patterns, and you’ll find that aesthetic worked into anything from furniture to clothing or even entire buildings. Lead with bold color and the Fig Blood Orange Embroidered Swing Tank. Channel eclectic, sultry vibes with the Arriba Off The Shoulder Top and pair it with some black vintage cutoffs, or trick yourself into thinking that you’re traveling IRL, and opt for something no-muss-no-fuss, like a cheeky graphic tee and your favorite pair of jeans, or even sweats (this is a judge-free zone people).
Whether you’re traveling for real, or only in your dreams, Living Doll has what it takes to scratch that itch. So head over to LivingDoll.La and get your wanderlust on!

KISS is the debut art book from Los Angeles-based photographer Maggie West. The book features 20 pairs of people kissing each other under colorful, surreal lighting. KISS takes a unique, abstract approach to a subject that has depicted throughout centuries of art. By placing a universal activity in such a dreamlike setting, the book causes readers to reexamine the energy and intimacy taking place with each embrace. The book features a foreword by artist and journalist Hannah Stouffer.

“My pick is Selena Gomez. I think she looks so elegant and beautiful and the orchid headpiece is everything!
I would totally wear this look from head to toe.” – Taylor Hannum
“I love Imogen Poots’ look! It’s sexy, classic, fresh, and unique!” – Faith Picozzi
“For me it was a tie between Karolina Kurkova and Rosie Huntington Whiteley.
Karolina nailed the essence of the theme in a playful and traditional way,
but Rosie makes it look effortlessly classy in a dress that fits her perfectly.” – Cat Haave
“I thought Alexa Chung look amazing in her silk gown.
She matched the theme and her hair and makeup was simple yet stunning.
I’ve always loved the silk on a Chinese Kimono, so this dress was perfect! (and pink)” – Monica Ollander
“Lily Aldridge! I actually tweeted a picture of her last night and said “everything”.
Her dress is so classy and made it so fun by accessorizing it with the fish earrings and purse.
Love the dark burgundy lips too!” – Lyzy Adler
“I think Kate Hudson can do no wrong on the red carpet and once again last night she killed it!
The color and style made her stand out in the crowd and was on trend with the theme,
but all the while she stayed very true to her on personal style.
She is always the definition of elegant and chic.” – Paige Watkins
“This is so him. He never has to try too hard.” – Ashley Moore
Don’t envision yourself cruising down the Pacific Coast Highway with your hair blowing in the wind anytime soon? Not to worry: all your West Coast desires will be fulfilled when you watch this adorably awesome video starring Faith Picozzi and her boyfriend Filip, shot and directed by photographer extraordinaire John Huba. Based in New York and repped by Elyse Connolly, John recently escaped the East Coast chill to warm up by shooting alongside the California coast, and we really can’t blame him. Watch as the real life couple drive down the coastline with the top down in a convertible Mini Cooper, frolic along Venice Beach trying on heart-shaped sunnies, and eat sweet potato french fries by the beach – all while the sweet, melodic voices of The Everly Brothers’s “I Kissed You” play in the background. (Swoon). Just a forewarning, though, we’re already experiencing major FOMO – and we actually live in LA.
In the dead of winter- is there a better way to pass the time than to dream of summer? In your day dreaming endeavors… we’ve got the best of the best inspiration for you: a batch of some of our all-time favorite swim looks!
