Love doesn’t even begin to cover it on how we feel about Camryn&Moe‘s latest shoot with photo guru Megan Taylor! Megan is an artistic genius when it comes to establishing light & organizing coloration in her photos. Each shot feels to hold an elaborate story paused in time, which is something we deeply admire!
Additionally, this shoot brought into perspective some of the upcoming styles for Summer 2017. It seems that off-shoulder crop tops, deep v-neck sundresses, and denim with fridge is the go-to for all your seasonal festivities (How cute!). The chosen makeup style also reflects the current trend that is sweeping the world: highlighter! These girls absolutely stunned by illuminating/enhancing their naturally gorgeous features, making vixens out of both of them.
Something else to note is the trend of embellished chokers. Our style forecast says that one will see a lot of this throughout the rest of 2017, and we’re not complaining! It’s a unique advancement from the 1990’s strappy chokers, modernizing an old-age fashion that we have long adored!

We all know Fall is about layering, but what it really comes down to is knowing the art of mixing and matching with some of this season’s most versatile staples – leather and silk, and lots of it.
1. The Leather JacketIf you don’t own one yet, it’s time you invest in a good leather jacket this season like our Zipped Up Leather Jacket! It’s oversized with a flexible, comfy fit, making it perfect for all of your layering needs. You can toss it over literally anything from a pair of leggings and an oversized t-shirt or sweater to a pair of your favorite jeans, a see-through mesh top, and shiny metallic pumps! Find yourself wearing it more than once, twice, ten times all season long. This jacket is here to stay for every cold season, every year.
Long Sleeve Fully Mesh Top $11
Zipped Up Leather Jacket $38
One Slit High Waisted Jeans $34
Strappy Mesh Cut Out Bralette $29
Shiny Metallic Pumps $26
2. The Silk TopSilkis in. We’re obsessed with this trend and are finding more and more ways to pair it and incorporate it into our everyday fall wardrobe. The best part about this trend? You can sleep in it. But, seriously this works day or night, which is like our favorite thing on earth besides pizza and Netflix. Tap into the 90s by layering it over a simple white tee or a band tee with jeans, a cool distressed jean jacket and ankle booties. For a night out, go with a high waisted mini skirt, choker, and a pair of open toe ankle booties! Nothing greater than something you can wear in bed and all the way to the dance floor.

Do you have a book that changed your life?
This is going to sound sooooo nerdy but I absolutely love to read. It’s probably my favorite thing to do, and has been since I was just a little girl. In my senior year of college, we were assigned a book called “The Difference Maker” By John Maxwell. No one actually read any of the books we got assigned, but I am a huge nerd so I read every single one! This book, in particular, changed my life because it gave me a whole new perspective on how the simplest thing like having a good attitude can have an immensely positive impact on how successful you are in life. Since then, I follow so many tips the book gave me and I swear by it, I am such a happier person.
What inspires you the most?
Family. I have five siblings and they are all much younger than I am. They motivate me to be the best that I can be because I want to set an amazing example for them. I also look up to my mom and my grandmother. They are the strongest women I have ever met and they inspire me to be the same.
What’s been your greatest achievement (so far)?
Education is so important to me and will continue to be, so I would have to say my biggest achievement (so far) is getting my associates degree two weeks before my high school diploma. I was only 16 at the time when I made the decision to make that a goal of mine. It was one of the first big goals I worked really hard over a long period of time to accomplish, and it was extremely difficult to achieve because of my life situation at the time. SO many times I asked myself why I was doing it and wanted to just give up, but I stuck with it and it served me very well because now I am 21 and I already have two degrees!
What’s your favorite punctuation mark?
Definitely the !!!! I use it all the time when I’m messaging or emailing people. I feel like if you know me it just makes sense because I’m pretty out there. If not, I’ve often wondered if people think I’m yelling at them all the time…Lol!
Can you hula hoop?
Yes I can! But to be completely honest, I am kind of dysfunctional when it comes to any sport involving objects, so let’s just say I can and keep it at that.
If you had to choose one thing you were most passionate about, what would it be and why?
That’s hard to choose because I believe in being passionate about everything you do. If you’re not passionate about it… Then why are you doing it? But if I had to pick, I’d say I’m really passionate about traveling. I feel like it’s important to travel the world and see all that’s out there! There’s so much of it and so little time!
Are your feet the same size?
No they are not and it infuriates me! My right is almost a half size bigger than my left, so I buy shoes that fit perfectly on the left foot, and my toes are left to suffer on the right because I secretly want to punish that foot for being bigger.
What’s under your bed?
Clothes… Lots and lots of clothes.
How many bones have you broken?
TOO MANY!! I was a competitive cheerleader for over 14 years and between the flipping and the stunting (I was the flyer) I’ve had my fair share of broken arms, fingers, and even fractured my neck once!
What food will you absolutely not, under any circumstances, eat?
I am not a picky eater at all! But for some reason, my taste buds do not like seafood. Even the smell makes my stomach turn!
Which emoji would best capture your essence?
What’s the most embarrassing trend you gave in to?
I try not to do trends because I think it is so much cooler when you just do you, and it ends up being a trend– because after all, that is how they start! But I’ll admit when I was in middle school (7th grade) I cared a lot about what others thought, and I got bullied pretty badly. I have really bushy eyebrows (bordering on uni-brow when I don’t maintain them), and back in the day pencil-thin eyebrows were the “cool” and “beautiful” thing. So one day I went home and shaved off my eyebrows. Let’s just say the results were much worse than just putting up with the bullies ! AND OMG THEY DID NOT GROW BACK IN PRETTY.
