Part-proven by science and part-being a girl, the colors you choose to style yourself in can affect your mood throughout the rest of the day. And since we always strive to wake up on the right side of the bed, we love that the fresh, vibrant patterns from Flynn Skye pretty much guarantee an awakening of our mind, body and spirit for a feels-like-Friday mood (even if it’s only Tuesday, ahem).

Exhibit A: Diane transcended peace and love vibes in this stunning halter dress, which she described as perfect for an impromptu shopping excursion or an after-hours beachside walk. A hiking enthusiast herself, it’s easy to see why Diane looks so content in Flynn Skye’s earthy tones, telling us she loves the brand’s bohemian, floral and romantic elements.

Exhibit B: Lauren, who usually rocks hair reminiscent of a chicer, more modern Sporty Spice, had soft, straight hair when she got to raid the Flynn Skye Style Closet. So she went with this artsy and romantic magenta paisley in the Err Night Mini Dress, complete with super sexy but subtle details. We’re pretty sure this dress would kill it for any date- night or day (no really though, you might want to save this for dates where your man is heart healthy, because this look is sure to cause some palpitations).

It’s no surprise that Lyzy and Sakura looked as though they were en route to take a stroll on the beach in some of designer and founder Amber Farr’s amazing creations.

Lyzy looked absolutely ethereal in a breezy jumper, which she styled perfectly with groovy platforms, neutral makeup and low-maintenance hair. Similarly, Sakura flowed naturally like a goddess in a chic patterned maxi.

Needless to say, you’ll be ready for whatever excursions come your way when rocking Flynn Skye (and something tells us they wouldn’t have it any other way).

It’s festival season, so that means any available cash we have is responsibly tucked away into a fund dedicated to our favorite indie rockstars. Sigh. But contrary to popular belief, it is possible to rock out in existing threads, as Lauren Johnson so flawlessly showed us. All it takes is some unique accessories to add a touch of your own personality into your go-to wardrobe. We love the way Lauren paired vintage jewels from Etsy with jeans from Urban Outfitters and a go-to white tee from ASOS. An eye-catching necklace from Cape Town and a gemmed ring from her mother sealed the look. If a trip overseas is (unfortunately) not on your agenda anytime soon, head over to your local vintage store or log onto Etsy.com to integrate some one-of-a-kind finds into your everyday style. Ready, set, thrift.

“If I could describe my style in a single piece of clothing it would be a white cotton dress.

It is romantic and comfortable.

I do love being weird and wearing something whimsical or exotic.

Turbans are one of my favorite accessories.

It’s just fun to play dress up every once in a while!”
