EmilyFW

If you haven’t been following Emily Hall on social media yet, now is the time to start. This gorgeous girl continues to take the fashion world by storm with her tireless work ethic, most recently leading her to walking thirteen shows in Madrid Fashion Week in four days. After a stunning debut in New York, Milan, and London, it was only fitting for Madrid to be next on her tour de force.

Emily sent her MFW client list à la napkin, right before her first job in the morning.

Walking for sought-after international designers like Menchén Tomás, Maria Ke Fishermann, and Andrés Sardá saw her repping all the trends we look forward to seeing in the coming seasons, from vintage glam to modern rebel. (Also, we’d say strutting down the runway in a Marie Antoinette getup fulfills every girl’s modeling daydream.) One of our particular favorites was Teresa Helbig‘s Old Money collection, which took aristocratic fashion for a playful romp through 70’s flair with maximalist detailing.

When asked for a complete list of all the designers she walked for, this busy bee scrawled it on a napkin at a cafe before heading to her first job in the morning. (Now that’s dedication!) We couldn’t be more thrilled to see this #girlboss’s dreams coming true, one step at a time. Keep scrolling to see how Emily rocked Madrid Fashion Week.

Stating Emily Hall did well at her opening Fashion Week season would be a major understatement– we’d say walking in a total of eighteen shows in three different countries deserves major props at the very least! If that doesn’t grab your attention, the incredible collections she modeled continue to dominate our feeds. Keep scrolling to take a look back at the shows she walked in this season.

linebreakemily-hall-for-nyfwlinebreakFor anyone wondering if being a model is 24-7 glamour and luxury, take a look at our stunning little hustler, Emily HallAfter spending some time developing with us in Los Angeles, she was placed with IMG Models Worldwide and has been working on her grind ever since.

From developing a true love for the world of fitness and personal training, to attending castings all hours of the day and night, to learning healthy recipes and a love for cooking clean (you can check out her cooking on Instagram through #EmilyEats), she’s demonstrated the dedication and tenacity all top models strive for in this competitive industry. Ready, set, swim! Once a year, babes from all over the country head to Miami to both showcase and preview the hottest suits of the season. Excited to get in on the action, the Nous team packed up and jet-setted from the West Coast to the Gulf Coast to get in on the action. It may have been our debut season showing there, but we’re believers in “Go Big, or Go Home”, and we were certainly not about to go home.

The crowd could not get enough of Ashley Moore, who was thrilled to close the show for Frankie’s Bikinis and to both open and close For Love and Lemons, whose whimsical and romantic pieces breathed new life into classic bohemian-chic. She also got to rock one of the four hand-made pop art looks Frankie’s collaborated on with Kim Gordon, the pretty pastel-minded genius behind the creation of Wildfox. Taylor Hannum opened for Indah Clothing in their modern vintage take on swimwear and joined Ashley at the For Love & Lemons show for a few dazzling numbers. Allie Holton and KJ SKorge also made appearances for Beach Bunny and Amuse Society, respectively. Between the runway glamour and backstage interviews, Nous girls sunbathed at the pool, recharged at spa lounges, and hit the beach in the Miami heat.

Last night was a night to be remembered at the highly anticipated first ever “see now, buy now” Alice + Olivia runway show. From the star-studded front row to high-profile Nieman Marcus buyers eyeing limited-edition pieces as they sashayed down the catwalk, the event provided powerful evidence that this new form of fashion commerce strategy is here to stay. Alica + Olivia’s highly coveted Spring 2016 line is a wanderlust fairytale with an elegant and refined twist– floor-length vests, bell bottoms, floral embroidery and delicate chiffon tempered by clean lines, perfect tailoring, and demure hems.

The show concluded with a surreal shower of rose petals falling from the ceiling, descending onto models and noteworthy audience members alike as Benet took a bow.

Among the models who walked, our girls Ashley Moore and Faith Picozzi were granted the good fortune of being featured beyond the scope of the runway and into the festival-wear campaign shot by Jared Kocka. The campaign, much like the runway, features select pieces from Benet’s Grateful Dead capsule line.

We’re keeping our eyes on several key pieces- particularly the Lavergne Asymmetrical Ruffle Layer Gown and the Chloe Embellished Crop Jacket. As if we weren’t excited for Coachella already, this line comes just in time to make our festival-wear wish list! Now, if only a festival fairy godmother could appear and manifest the outfits into our suitcases…

Resort fashion was taken to the next level quite literally at last night’s Louis Vuitton Cruise Collection show. Situated high above ground at the gorgeous Bob Hope Estate in Palm Springs, guests like the face of the brand Michelle Williams, besties Miranda Kerr and Selena Gomez and even Kanye West himself enjoyed the picturesque, hilltop views of mountains and palm trees.

Dream vacation setting aside, the clothes were pretty major. Designer Nicolas Ghesquière presented long, flowy A-line maxies with structured moto jackets that created the perfect equilibrium of California cool. Leather, suede and fringe details also contributed to the mixture of high-low style, as seen on our model Carly Moore.

After the show wrapped, the crowd ventured over to the Parker Hotel to munch on bites of West Coast staples like tacos and caviche in between claw games featuring Louis Vuitton purses as prizes (we’ll let that just sink in for a minute). All in all, this event seemed like the true California dream.

California, here they come! Continuing along the western road recently paved by high fashion designers Burberry and Tom Ford, global luxury house Louis Vuitton is ditching Paris for Palm Springs, CA to host their Cruise 16 Resort Collection.

Palm Springs has long been a chic oasis only a two-hour escape from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles (It’s the Hamptons to our Manhattan).  Now, with the arrival of creative director Nicolas Ghesquière and the rest of the LV squad, the global spotlight is finally cast on the modern desert town, solidifying its rise as a fashion capital.

Tonight’s invite-only show is rumored to draw an elite crowd of around 800-1000 to the historic Bob Hope House. This famous estate boasts futuristic, out-of-this-world vibes that are sure to be a foreshadowing of something major in store. And while the details of this much-anticipated event are understandably being kept on the DL, we anticipate that the results are going to be #epic.

Catch the action live here, and check back tomorrow for our recap of what’s sure to be nothing short of an amazing show. Because you know what they say: shoot for the moon (or, a house that looks like the moon).

LA Fashion Week is over! Our models Polina and TyLynn walked for Sue Wong, a couture designer with dramatic flair.

“The Sue Wong show was dramatic from the music to the head pieces. She herself is something out of an extravagant opera. I have worked with her for a while now and admire her tenacity.” – TyLynn

“I loved wearing Sue’s collection. The clothes are elegant, but what makes the experience unique is that Sue makes the show an otherworldly experience. The accessories and the headpieces, paired up with lighting and music, really make you feel like you are in a magical world. Her latest collection was called Sirens and Nymphs, and I definitely felt like a siren up on that runway.” – Polina

Here’s a look at what they wore on the runway:

“Hi guys! Giza here with the latest in NYFW style and trends. I’ve been scoping out the scene in Manhattan for the past week. Obviously, all of the S/S’ 15 styles are stunning, but I’ve spotted a few trends on the street that are sure to be pretty major this upcoming season. I’ve got all of the details for you in this week’s NYFW Recap:

Crazy prints

Designers weren’t holding back this season in the print department. Crazy prints, vibrant colors… Um hello, seventies. We’ve missed you. I’m not talking a hint of a print here and there. No. Full on head-to-toe psychedelic floral. I’m obsessed.

Fringe

Are you going through Coachella withdrawal? Don’t worry. April will be here before you know it. In the meantime, designers are giving you your fringe fix by way of awesome denim and leather jackets and suede bags. Fringe represents freedom and carelessness and passion. It’s no wonder we can’t seem to get enough these days.

Fishnet skirts

Gone are the days where fishnet only thrived through the cheeky little tights you wore with your favorite little minis. Fishnets are back in a new way this season. Say hello to the fishnet skirt. Designers are considerate of the sexy reputation that fishnets have attained over the year. Try pairing yours with a classy little button up top, sandals, and a topknot for an effortlessly chic look.

Midriff

The midriff trend is still going strong. I don’t think we’ll be mourning the death of crop tops any time soon. NYFW was littered with both models and the fashion-inclined alike baring their summer bods by way of tiny tops and bold bralettes. For SS ’15, swap your high-wasted shorts and skirts for classic mid-rise denim.

Beiges

Amidst all of the drama and eccentricities of fashion week, we can all find comfort in the fact that beige is still totally in. Not up for flashy prints and daring colors. It’s fine. Beige is still a safe space for you to comfortably channel your inner fashion savant. Timeless trench coats and sleek skirts are only a few of the ways that you can bring beige back in your spring and summer wardrobes. Just kidding about the whole “back” bit. Beige never truly went anywhere to begin with.

This NYFW was complete madness, I was running all over the place. Different parties, events, shows, and presentations. I am excited to share with you some of the experience!”
