Style

garagedenim_cover4We can’t believe it is almost fall! That means back to school, layers, and getting cozy. Thankfully, Garage Clothing has us covered with their amazing new collection of jeans and separates! We can’t wait for the weather to get cooler so we can rock some of these new looks!

Check out Garage Clothing’s handy denim guide here!

Shot by the talented Chris Heads, our model Tereza shows off how effortlessly cool Garage’s style can look. Check out the behind the scenes on the shoot:

Skinny jeans are a timeless staple that can never go wrong. Pair them with pretty much anything plaid or a soft tee you are set! Jeggings are basically our favorite things, providing maximum comfort with that long and lean look you love. Check out Garage’s skinny jeans here!

We love how Tereza conveys a carefree casual style in the campaign. The styling is spot on and strikes the perfect balance between cute and relaxed! Layers, cool colors, and a little bit of sass are key.

Everyone needs a second chance! The Giving Keys (@thegivingkeys), led by Caitlin Crosby, repurposes old hotel and house keys into totally chic jewelry with inspirational messages. Stamped with words and phrases like HOPE, DREAM, and LET GO, we could definitely use the little reminder in our lives. Proceeds from the keys go towards transitioning people out of homelessness and into the workforce. Wear a key for yourself, then pass it on to inspire someone else when you’re done! You can shop for your own key and share your story at www.thegivingkeys.com.

The seriously epic campaign was shot by Travis Schnieder. Check out Ashley Moore, Jordan Monaghan, and Maggimae rocking their keys below!

Ever feel so overwhelmed with your life that you don’t even know where to begin?  We do.  I mean, come on!  Any tried-and-true fashion girl has a lot on her plate for one day.  We get things done!  You’ve got work, play, the gym, dinner, friends- don’t forget your social media feeds, and some shopping time if you’re lucky- sometimes it all just seems like too much!  T.M., an abbreviation short for Transcendental Meditation, is the twice-daily practice of mantra-based meditation.  In short, it’s a great way for people with super-chaotic daily lives to stay grounded, centered, and inspired.

Award winning film director, writer and producer David Lynch has taken on the task of sharing these enlightening techniques with the world with his nonprofit organization, The David Lynch Foundation.

Our girl Alyssa Miller (@luvalyssamiller) says she owes her sanity to T.M.; so when her friend and fashion publicist Robyn Berkeley proposed a capsule collection of lounge and activewear benefiting the David Lynch Foundation, she was all on board.

“It changed my life. You spend twenty minutes in the morning and twenty minutes at night giving yourself the time to sort through your emotions. It’s all about change from within, like our T-shirt logo says, and this collection just made sense because it’s about eating well, working out, taking care of yourself, and giving back.” – Alyssa

Thanks Alyssa, for reminding us that our Instagram filters aren’t the only that make us look and feel better about ourselves.  Change begins within.  Live the Process!
